Report: Dozier deciding Wednesday
Top University of Louisville recruiting target P.J. Dozier will announce his college decision on Wednesday - the first day of the fall signing period - according to SportsTalkSC.com.
The site reported that Dozier, who has been considering Louisville, North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan and Georgetown, is, in fact, down to two schools - his father declined to name which ones - and that he plans to make his pick about 12:15 at high school, Spring Valley of Columbia, S.C.
Dozier is the Cardinals' top remaining target in a 2015 class that has commitments from guard Donovan Mitchell, small forward Deng Adel and power forward Raymond Spalding.
Dozier had what his father called a "wonderful" official visit to U of L on Oct. 30. He had several coaches from his finalists visit him this past week in Columbia, but U of L's staff did not because the Cards felt confident they had made their full pitch already and another trip was unnecessary.
