Charles Gaines, as usual, found the perfect way to sum up Florida State's 2014 season.

"They always find a way to win," the Louisville cornerback said after FSU's rally to win 42-31 at Louisville on Thursday night.

Couldn't have said it better. FSU, and its 8-0 record, is still in the hunt for a second consecutive national title after another find-a-way victory. And with the schedule the Seminoles have left, there's little reason to think they won't keep doing it and finish 12-0.

Except one game, that is.

Miami, one of FSU's chief nemeses, keeps getting better by the week, it seems, and the Hurricanes might be able to do something similar to Louisville's offense when FSU comes to town on the 15th. What Miami must do different than Louisville, though, is figure out a way to keep Duke Johnson active after FSU makes halftime adjustments.

Slowing Louisville running back Michael Dyer was one of FSU's top accomplishments on Thursday. Miami can't let that happen.

But let's look at this week first.

Louisville-BC will be a fight. If Virginia got FSU maybe a month ago, perhaps its defense would make things tough for the 'Noles. Clemson will blast Wake Forest. Duke-Syracuse is a snoozer, and Georgia Tech-NC State could be a high-scoring bonanza.
