Gerod Holliman keeps rolling into the postseason honors, and Tuesday was no different.

The University of Louisville safety became the first Card since Elvis Dumervil in 2005 to be named a first-team Associated Press All-American. It's the sixth major All-American honor that Holliman has received since the 2014 regular season ended.

Holliman, a redshirt sophomore, tied the NCAA's single-season record for interceptions with 14 this year. He also had 17 passes defended and 37 tackles as one of Louisville's three primary safeties for the nation's sixth-ranked defense in total yards allowed.

Bleacher Report on Sunday reported that Holliman intends to enter the 2015 NFL draft and forgo his final two years of eligibility.

His 14 interceptions were more than 113 FBS teams this season and tied Al Worley's record that was set in 1968.

Likewise, Indiana running back Tevin Coleman earned another honor by making the AP's list. The junior who finished 7th in Heisman Trophy voting is second nationally in rushing yards (2,036), rushing yards per game (169.7), all-purpose yards per game (181.4) and yards from scrimmage per game (181.4).
