Cards and Cats HQ Apps

Fans of the Louisville Cardinals and the Kentucky Wildcats now have a new way to take their thirst for UofL and UK sports to a new level with two new fan apps from The Courier-Journal.

Apple friendly Cards HQ and Cats HQ fan apps have launched in the App Store.

Android apps for both teams will launch in Google Play in early 2015. CardsHQ and CatsHQare free to download and will offer coverage of all UofL and UK sports teams.

The free Fan Level offers features that can be accessed without subscriptions such as rosters, player stats, game casts, chat, and Twitter feed.

Additional columns, photos, videos, insights, pre-game and post-game analysis, press conferences, and other exclusive content may be accessed with an Insider subscription for $3.99 per month. All content is always available free to Courier-Journal subscribers.

Current digital and full access subscribers can simply log into the apps with their subscription credentials. Since everything seems to be a competition between these schools, The Courier-Journal will publish updates showing which school's fans have more downloads in print and online editions of the newspaper during the initial launch of the apps.

The Cards HQ and Cats HQ apps are sponsored by Commonwealth Dodge, located at 6408 Preston Highway in Louisville.
