Cards' Jamon Brown praises O-line

U of L left tackle Jamon Brown knows how tough the early part of the season was for the Cards' offensive line.

Louisville struggled protecting the passer, be it Will Gardner or Reggie Bonnafon, and committed multiple back-breaking penalties. They became the most criticized group on U of L's roster.

But in more recent weeks, the offensive line has improved leaps and bounds, according to coaches and players alike. The addition of right tackle Aaron Epps and his energy helped a lot, Brown said, and the Cards played as well as they have all year in the loss to FSU.

"It was our best performance of the season," he said. "We struggled early on (this year) trying to find the right pieces. We came out as a unit and we did what we needed to do."
