STORY LINES

Louisville hit the road early for the first trip to play Miami since 2005. Like last season's trip to FIU, the team tries to enjoy South Florida when it gets the chance. And once the ball tips off, Louisville should enjoy the road rims, too. It's no longer an oddity -- Louisville is simply a better shooting team on the road. The Cards shoot 8.3 percent better away from home. They'll hope to continue that at Miami.

Miami's one of the surprise teams in the ACC, though the Hurricanes have struggled of late. They rocked Duke -- at Duke -- but back-to-back losses to Georgia Tech and FSU, two of the league's lesser teams, are concerning. Miami's problem, at times, has been its scoring. The Hurricanes, like U of L, have struggled shooting the ball on a consistent basis.

Montrezl Harrell perked up and dominated Louisville's win over UNC on Saturday, notching his 20th career double-double in the comeback. He was active inside, grabbing 15 rebounds, and he produced one of the day's top highlights with a thunderous alley-oop on a fast break. Getting Harrell back into a game-by-game flow on offense is one of Louisville's top priorities as February starts, and Saturday was an emphatic start.
