Louisville’s DeVante Parker celebrates with Brandon Radcliff after he scored a touchdown against the Boston College Eagles in the second quarter at Alumni Stadium.

The University of Louisville won't face a ranked Notre Dame when the teams meet at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, but a victory for either side could be enough to get the winner back in the polls.

The Irish, losers of two straight, received enough votes to sit 26th in both the Associated Press Top 25 and Amway coaches polls released Sunday afternoon. U of L, off this week before the trip to South Bend, is 29th by votes in the AP poll and 31st by the coaches.

A common opponent for both -- Florida State -- is back to the No. 1 spot after a narrow victory over Miami. Following the Seminoles in the AP Top 25 are Alabama, Oregon, Mississippi State and TCU.
