The University of Louisville bettered its seeding but not its locale in the latest release of ESPN's NCAA tournament "Bracketology."

As of last Thursday a No. 4 in the South Region, U of L used a comeback win over North Carolina to land as a No. 3 in the West in Joe Lunardi's latest bracket posted Monday. The Cards, meanwhile, are the No. 3 in the Midwest Region as of now by Jerry Palm of CBS Sports.

Both bracketologists have Kentucky maintaining its status as the Midwest Region's No. 1 seed, meaning a path to the Four in Indianapolis would start with a pair of games at the KFC Yum! Center.

If U of L winds up in the West, it could play second- and third-round games in Columbus, Ohio. But the regional final is slated for Los Angeles, while the Midwest is in Cleveland.

Indiana stood this week as a No. 7 seed by Lunardi and No. 6 by Palm, while both experts list Murray State as a 13.

Also, Palm kept Western Kentucky in his bracket as a No. 12 seed, though Lunardi dropped the Hilltoppers after their loss last Thursday to Louisiana Tech.
