U of L and UK basketball next-round tip times

Before the University of Louisville tipped off Sunday evening, and with Kentucky's regional semifinal opponent still unknown, tipoff times for the NCAA tournament's next round were released.

The Wildcats will meet West Virginia at approximately 9:45 p.m. Thursday in Cleveland, with the game to air on CBS. That matchup follows Notre-Dame Wichita State, both also seeking a berth in the Midwest Regional championship game.

U of L, which advanced past Northern Iowa, will tip off against NC State at 7:37 p.m. Friday in Syracuse. TBS has the broadcast. To follow are Michigan State and Oklahoma, other possible East Region final opponents for the Cardinals.

Marv Albert, Chris Webber, Len Elmore and Lewis Johnson are on the call for the Midwest Region with Verne Lundquist, Jim Spanarkel and Allie LaForce in the East Region.
