Girl pulled from Okolona swimming pool dies

A girl pulled from an Okolona swimming pool last week has died, Okolona Fire Department confirmed Monday.

Okolona Fire Department found the girl in a swimming pool on the 3900 block of Serene Way at about 5 p.m. Tuesday, said Chief Chris Gosnell.

The Jefferson County deputy coroner handling the case could not be reached early Monday for additional information.
