LEXINGTON, Ky. – With just more than a week until signing day, the Kentucky football 2016 recruiting class has received an important vote of confidence from one of its most highly touted members.

Four-star cornerback Jordan Griffin took to Twitter Monday morning to reiterate his commitment to UK after visiting Auburn over the weekend.

“It truly is a blessing to be at this point of my life,” Griffin wrote. “It has been a crazy experience but I am committed to the University of Kentucky.”

UK 2016 class helping at positions of need

Griffin is one of five UK commitments rated as at least a four-star prospect by Rivals.com, which ranks him as the No. 15 cornerback in the class. The Jonesboro, Georgia native also boasts offers from Auburn, Clemson, Cincinnati and others.

He is one three defensive backs in the class, joining three-star recruits Tobias Gilliam and Davonte Robinson. Rivals currently ranks UK's 2016 class 19th nationally.
