Trinity High School's Raymond Spalding and the University of Louisville's three other commitments, Indiana University's two signees, top IU and University of Kentucky target Thomas Bryant and UK target Brandon Ingram were among the 21 players announced Monday to play in the 42nd Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic all-star game.

Spalding, fellow U of L signees Donovan Mitchell and Deng Adel and verbal commitment Ryan McMahon, who form a recruiting class rated No. 4 nationally by Scout.com, will give Cardinals fans a preview of the future at the Derby Festival Classic, to be played 7 p.m. April 11 at Freedom Hall.

IU signees Juwan Morgan and OG Anunoby – both four-star forwards from Missouri – will represent the Hoosiers and should be fan favorites on Friday, April 10 at the Horseshoe Foundation Night of Future Stars skills contests at New Albany High School.

No players committed to UK are currently in the game, although organizers still hope to add signee Charles Matthews, a four-star guard from Chicago, to the roster at a later date.

UK's other signees, Memphis center Skal Labissiere and New Jersey point guard Isaiah Briscoe, are playing in the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, Ore., on the same day as the Derby Festival game.

Bryant, a center from Huntington (W.Va.) Prep, and Ingram, a five-star wing from Kinston, N.C., are two of the four McDonald's All Americans confirmed to play at Freedom Hall. Bryant is down to UK, IU, Missouri and Syracuse in his recruitment. Ingram is considering UK, North Carolina, Duke, NC State, UCLA and Kansas.

The other McDonald's All Americans are Jawun Evans (Oklahoma State signee) and Dedric Lawson (Memphis signee).

The U of L commitments Mitchell and Deng are both rated five stars by Scout.com, two of the seven Scout five-stars in the game. Mitchell's school, Brewster Academy of New Hampshire, last week won the National Prep School Championship. Adel, who attended Victory Rock Prep in Florida, has been living in his home country of Australia the past few months.

Tickets to the Derby Festival Classic are $13 (upper arena), $18 (lower arena) and $50 (courtside) and are available via TicketMaster and the Freedom Hall box office.

The Derby Festival Classic is the nation's oldest high school all-star game.
