Winning a state championship didn't slow Trey Lyles' schedule.

Four days after leading Indianapolis Arsenal Tech to Indiana's Class 4-A basketball title — the first in school history — the 6-foot-10 Lyles will compete in the McDonald's All American Game tonight in the United Center in Chicago.

Lyles, one of four University of Kentucky signees in the game, will play on the West team alongside 7-foot Chicago native Jahlil Okafor, a Duke signee who is generally regarded as the top player in the class.

Indiana University recruit James Blackmon Jr. of Marion, Ind., will play for the East squad. The 6-3 Blackmon won the 3-point shootout during the skills competition Monday night.

Lyles and Blackmon are considered two of the top contenders for Indiana Mr. Basketball and highlight players from the field who will attend local schools. UK's other signees in the game are Devin Booker, Karl Towns Jr. and Tyler Ulis. D'Angelo Russell, a Louisville native and Ohio State signee, also will play.

Though none of the University of Louisville men's signees made the McDonald's rosters, future U of L women's players Myisha Hines-Allen and Mariya Moore were chosen for the 13th annual girls' game. UK women's signee Alyssa Rice made the cut as well.

The girls' game will tip off at 7 p.m., followed by the boys' game at approximately 9. ESPN will televise.

Kentucky and Duke have the most McDonald's All Americans this year with four, followed by North Carolina (three), UCLA (two) and Kansas (two).
