Refresh for updates Thursday during the NFL draft from columnist Adam Himmelsbach (@adamhimmelsbach) stationed live in New York, beat writer Jeff Greer (@jeffgreer_cj) providing commentary on the University of Louisville's draftees and digital producer Jonathan Lintner (@JonathanLintner) pulling in expert commentary.

12:00 a.m. -- Yes, after midnight. Thanks all for following. I'll leave you with links to stories on all three U of L draft selections (with quotes) on a history evening for Cardinals football.

Calvin Pryor: http://cjky.it/SGl0wS

Marcus Smith: http://cjky.it/1kUzP53

Teddy Bridgewater: http://cjky.it/1ocvWPn

-Lintner

11:59 a.m. -- It was a huge night for Louisville football, and for Charlie Strong. You can bet all of your money that Texas will be using tonight as a prime example of why players should play for Strong and his staff. Louisville had three first-round draft picks today, a program record, and it came in dramatic fashion. Good for Teddy -- he's a solid guy who earned the respect of his teammates during his time at Louisville. -Greer

11:45 p.m. -- Make it three draft picks for U of L. Bridgewater is a Viking and said, "From the moment we arrived tonight, we just decided we were going to enjoy the moment." -Lintner

11:42 p.m. -- The Minnesota Vikings made a late trade with the Seattle Seahawks for the 32nd pick of the first round. Teddy time? -Lintner

11:37 p.m. -- One to go. Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby is off to the Denver Broncos. Good for them improving the defense. We all saw the Super Bowl. -Lintner

11:34 p.m. -- Just two picks remain now that the New England Patriots have picked Florida defensive tackle Dominique Easley and the San Francisco 49ers went with Northern Illinois safety Jimmie Ward. It's unlikely Teddy Bridgewater hears his name called barring a late trade. -Lintner

11:21 p.m. -- Calvin Pryor said he spoke to Charlie Strong this morning and already received a congratulatory text from him. -Himmelsbach

11:20 p.m. -- Since Marcus smith went at No. 26, the Arizona Cardinals have selected Washingon State safety Deone Bucannon. The Caroline Panthers then took Florida State receiver Kelvin Benjamin 28th. Four picks remain tonight. -Lintner

11:15 p.m. -- Marcus Smith's selection to the Eagles marks the first season in which U of L has had multiple first-round NFL draft picks.

11:10 p.m. -- Surprise! The Philadelphia Eagles selected Marcus Smith, the U of L defensive end who's going listed as a linebacker. More to come... -Lintner

11:02 p.m. -- The San Diego Chargers, not expected to be looking for a quarterback, went with cornerback Jason Verrett out of TCU. -Lintner

10:58 p.m. -- Mike Mayock called Darqueze Dennard the best "pure-press corner in the draft." He's off to Cincinnati. Still to pick tonight are the Chargers, Eagles, Cardinals, Panthers, Patriots, 49ers, Broncos and Seahawks, in that order. -Lintner

10:52 p.m. -- The Kansas City Chiefs took Auburn defensive end Dee Ford, known as a disruptive pass rusher off the edge, at 23rd. Could Cincinnati go for Bridgewater at 24th? We'll see in minutes. -Lintner

10:47 p.m. -- Well, it's wide open for Teddy Bridgewater now. Perhaps Kansas City likes him at 23. Maybe Cincinnati at 24. Arizona might also be an option at 27. Otherwise, it's looking a lot like Teddy will go early in the second round. The Houston Texans have the first pick in the second round, and they still need a quarterback. -Greer

10:44 p.m. -- Jets fans have a reputation for being less-than-thrilled about their team's draft picks, and they can be merciless here at Radio City. When Pryor's selection was announced, there was a mixture of light cheers and indifference, but the fans certainly not seem upset.

"I didn't really know who he was," Jets fan Faiz Kahn said. "But I hear he's good."

"He fits a need, but beyond that, he's not really exciting," added Jets fan Chris Atis.

-Himmelsbach

10:42 p.m. -- Finally. Now the cameras can train elsewhere, as the Cleveland Browns traded up to take Johnny Manziel 22nd. The bad news for Teddy Bridgewater? If the U of L quarterback was getting picked tonight, he was anticipated to go to the Browns at No. 26. -Lintner

10:35 p.m. -- Alabama's Ha Ha Clinton-Dix ended up with the Packers, who had been looking for a safety all the way at 21st overall. They likely got their second choice with Calvin Pryor gone to the Jets. -Lintner

10:32 p.m. -- The early reviews on Calvin Pryor to the Jets are positive. ESPN's Mike Clayton said, "Watch for (him) to be the quarterback of the defense for the Jets." NFL Network's Mike Mayock said Pryor is "maybe the most fearless defensive back I saw on tape this year." -Lintner

10:26 p.m. -- The New Orleans Saints went with Oregon State receiver Brandin Cooks. Next in line to pick is Green Bay, which looked closely at Calvin Pryor, who's off the board. After that follows: Eagles, Chiefs and then Bengals, who have expressed some interest in Teddy Bridgewater. -Lintner

10:18 p.m. -- The Miami Dolphins started to rebuild their offensive line by taking Tennessee's Ja'Wuan James. -Lintner

10:15 p.m. -- See our early draft story on Calvin Pryor to the Jets: http://cjky.it/1kUzP53

10:13 p.m. -- Calvin Pryor is the ninth first-round draft pick in U of L's program history. And typically critical New York Jets fans didn't boo his selection, always a plus. -Lintner

10:13 p.m. -- Pryor is everything you're hearing on TV: Big hitter with good ball skills and a fantastic energy to him. Has a solid career in front of him. He's also the highest defensive player from U of L to go in the draft since 2007, when Amobi Okoye went 10th to Houston. -Greer

10:08 p.m. -- The hometown New York Jets took almost all their allotted time for the 18th pick and came away with a pick locals will appreciate: U of L's Calvin Pryor, who goes as the first safety off the board. He's already got a nickname, too: "The Louisville Slugger." -Lintner

10:04 p.m. -- A former NFL scout and a former NFL QB explain why Teddy's drop down draft boards isn't really a drop: http://cjky.it/1j8l5y7

10:00 p.m. -- Another hour down and no Cardinals are gone. The Baltimore Ravens just selected Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley 17th. Calvin Pryor could still go any time. Also, the Cincinnati Bengals have had rumored interest in Teddy Bridgewater. All quarterbacks other than Blake Bortles, though, are still on the board. -Lintner

9:54 p.m. -- The longer Johnny Manziel stays around, the longer the television cameras will stay off Teddy Bridgewater during his wait. Baltimore at No. 17 is another potential landing spot for Calvin Pryor. --Himmelsbach

9:53 p.m. -- What an upset. Rather than abandon Tony Romo for Johnny Manziel, the Cowboys went for Zach Martin, an offensive tackle from Notre Dame, to protect Martin on the line. Teddy Bridgewater needs to hear some quarterbacks' names soon if he's to go in tonight's first round. -Lintner

9:49 p.m. -- Here come the Jets fans. Some chants of "Johnny Foot-ball!" starting to break out here at Radio City Music Hall. -Himmelsbach

9:47 p.m. -- Who? The Pittsburgh Steelers jumped for Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier with the 15th pick. And now Dallas shakes. The Cowboys are up, and Johnny Manziel is available. -Lintner

9:44 p.m. -- The Chicago Bears had their choice of safeties, and many predicted U of L safety Calvin Pryor would head there. The Bears instead went with Virginia Tech cornerback Kyle Fuller. -Lintner

9:38 p.m. -- The Rams, with their second selection of the night, took Pittsburgh defensive tackle Aaron Donald with the 12th pick. And the first round gets shorter for Teddy... -Lintner

9:33 p.m. -- While we wait for Teddy Bridgewater, here's my column on him from today: http://cjky.it/1g1j5NK

9:28 p.m. -- New York Giants fans cheered the 12th overall pick, LSU receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who won the Louisville-based Paul Hornung Award as college football's most-versatile player. -Lintner

9:21 p.m. -- The Tennesse Titans selected Michigan tackle Taylor Lewan with the 11th overall pick. Johnny Manziel remains. So does Teddy Bridgewater. -Lintner

9:17 p.m. -- We're nearing Calvin Pryor territory here. The St. Louis Rams, Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens are all in the market for secondary help, and so are the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles in the early 20s. -Greer

9:14 p.m. -- Barry Sanders introduced the Detroit Lions' pick, No. 10, as North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron, who was joined by his fiance at Radio City Music Hall. NFL Network reported Ebron proposed to her Thursday at the Empire State Building. -Lintner

9:13 p.m. -- Louisville safety Calvin Pryor has about 25 friends and family members at tonight's draft, including parents, daughter, girlfriend. -Himmelsbach

9:11 p.m. -- The Minnesota Vikings took UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr with the No. 9 overall pick. The Vikings were a team Teddy Bridgewater met with extensively in the interview process and could come back to him later. -Lintner

9:04 p.m. -- Sounded like Roger Goodell did a bit of a 'J' pump fake. "J...ustin Gilbert." Fans here thought it was Johnny. -Himmelsbach

9:04 p.m. -- Hey, remember when I said Bortles going third helped Teddy's chances at going in the first round? I still think that's the case, but it's starting to get verrrry interesting with Johnny Manziel still on the board.

9:04 p.m. -- The Cleveland Browns took Oklahoma State's Justin Gilbert with the eighth pick. The NFL Network's panel collectively said, "Oh!" -Lintner

8:59 p.m. -- The first spot I see Calvin Pryor as a legit possibility is No. 14 to the Chicago Bears. Halfway there. -Himmelsbach

8:59 p.m. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected another Texas A&M star, Mike Evans, with the seventh pick. Cue another Johnny Manziel camera shot. -Lintner

8:51 p.m. -- Texas A&M tackle Jake Matthews is off the board before teammate Johnny Manziel. And now it's Manziel who's going to become the go-to camera shot for network coverage before every commercial. After that? Maybe Teddy Bridgewater. -Lintner

8:42 p.m. -- The Oakland Raiders went with linebacker Khalil Mack of Buffalo, a player many expected to be off the board by this point. It's worth noting that two of the top-five picks -- Mack and Sammy Watkins -- were two-star recruits. -Lintner

8:37 p.m. -- The Buffalo Bills traded up for the fourth pick, exchanging with the Cleveland Browns to nab Clemson receiver Sammy Watkins. Just a thought: The No. 1 quarterback came from U of L's old league, and the top wideout hails from their new one. -Lintner

8:32 p.m. --That makes Teddy Bridgewater's chances of being a first-round pick even higher, as the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings both seem likely to take quarterbacks. -Greer

8:31 p.m. -- Blake Bortles is the first quarterback off the board in what many are calling a surprise. Bortles is headed to the Jacksonville Jaguars. -Lintner

8:25 p.m. -- The St. Louis Rams selected Greg Robinson, the burly Auburn offensive tackle, with the second pick. Robinson told fans in St. Louis, "I won't let you down." -Lintner

8:15 p.m. -- The Houston Texans have opened by selecting South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney. ESPN's Mel Kiper says he's the highest-graded defender in the draft since 1985. Many quarterbacks remain on the table. -Lintner

8 p.m. -- We asked before the draft your take on Teddy Bridgewater or Calvin Pryor. Here are some of the responses:

@Chadinthe502 on Teddy: "Doesn't matter. Him and his skinny knees are going to make whatever team selects him very, very happy."

@awrightsel: "Teddy to the Titans please!"

@SharronSmiley: "I think they both will go in the first round #L1C4"

@GoCardsGuy: "24 to Cincy or 26 to Cleveland"

7:58 p.m. -- A little history for you all: Calvin Pryor and Teddy Bridgewater would be the ninth and 10th Louisville players to be first-round picks. You have to go back 50 years to find the highest draft pick in program history. It was Ken Kortas, the ninth pick in the 1964 draft. The old St. Louis Cardinals picked the defensive tackle.

7:53 p.m. -- NFL Network is reporting the Houston Texans will select either South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney or Buffalo's Khalil Mack first overall when the draft starts at 8 p.m. -Lintner

7:52 p.m. -- Oddest thing I heard today was U of L defensive end Marcus Smith suggesting he has a shot at the first round. Came out of nowhere. He had really impressive workouts, but seems, at this point, like a sure-fire second-rounder. -Greer

7:44 p.m. -- The 34 players invited to the draft, which includes Teddy Bridgewater and Calvin Pryor from U of L, is a record, according to ESPN. The whole group was just introduced and posed for a picture -- one that's probably worth keeping. -Lintner

7:36 p.m. -- Teddy Bridgewater was just introduced to the crowd here at Radio City. Nice ovation. Johnny Manziel was the first prospect to hear some boos. -Himmelsbach

7:33 p.m.--The streets outside Radio City Music Hall are buzzing. There are three separate television stages set up, for NFL Network, ESPN, SNY. -Himmelsbach

7:26 p.m. -- Top NFL draft prospects this year get to select their own walkup music, so to speak. Teddy Bridgewater went with "The World's Greatest" by R. Kelly, and Calvin Pryor "Dreams & Nightmares" by Meek Mill. Click to see the full list. -Lintner

7:22 p.m. -- Ever wondered how the NFL so quickly gets a player's name on the jersey once he's picked? There's a sewing machine backstage, of course, and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport found it. -Lintner

7:18 p.m. -- Teddy Bridgewater walked the red carpet with his mother, Rose, while wearing a pink tie. The two did some dancing, too, that's quickly going Internet viral. Click here to see it. -Lintner

6:23 p.m. -- Asked his opinion on Teddy Bridgewater's draft destination, former WHAS 11 sports anchor-turned-Bleacher Report draft whiz Adam Lefkoe predicted No. 26 to the Cleveland Browns. -Lintner

What to expect:

--Well, for the first time, draftees will select their own music to play once they're picked. An NFL spokesperson said only two players selected the same song. (Fox Sports)

--Also, while the networks have taken to not spoiling picks before they're announced, CBS doesn't broadcast the draft. Their Jason LaCanfora will again be on spoiler duty. (Awful Announcing)

--And while many see U of L's Teddy Bridgewater ending up with the Cleveland Browns at pick No. 26, the New England Patriots will need a quarterback in a couple of years to replace Tom Brady. They're reportedly in talks to trade their current backup. (CBS Sports)
