Matt Bevin denies again he ever claimed MIT education

On Monday's Republican Senate debate, Louisville businessman Matt Bevin was asked again whether or not he had ever claimed an education from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He completely denied it and blamed it all on U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell.

You decide who is right.

KET host Bill Goodman: "Would you just, if you could, take a second or two to clarify the articles that make the claim that on a LinkedIn profile said that you had some affiliation with MIT?"

Bevin: "It's an absolute lie made up by Mitch McConnell as a smokescreen and It's typical because he'll run that, he literally had a kid out here in the parking lot filming us as we came in and taking pictures of everybody who walked in and out of this building."

Goodman: "You didn't have that on your LinkedIn account?"

Bevin: "No, I've never, look, if you go to my LinkedIn account, you will see I attended an executive education program that happens to have MIT in the title because I attended it back from 06 to 08. It's still on there, it's always been on there, but at no point has it ever claimed nor have I ever claimed to anybody to be a graduate of this school. I hope that MIT appreciates they've got a lot of good buzz off this but it's a 100 percent fabrication by Mitch McConnell.

Here's what Bevin's LinkedIn account looked like months ago when The Hill first reported the controversy:

Notice how under education, he lists Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

And here's what the account looked like on Monday:

Here, in the most recent shot, he lists his education as "School of Life"

You can scan down farther on the page and he does still list the MIT program but still doesn't indicate that the program is not formally recognized by the prestigious university.

Here's what it says.

So, who do you believe?
