Promising the most glamorous and star-studded charity event in the history of the Kentucky Derby is a big order, but then take a look at who is making the promise. Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson, founders of 21c Museum Hotels, and Junior Bridgeman, president of Bridgeman Foods Inc., are combining forces, talent and connections to create the Hermitage Grand Gala.

Wilson and Brown and Bridgeman have hosted their own Derby Eve galas in the past, and now their merged effort will create The Hermitage Grand Gala, set to take place May 1 on the grounds of the historic Hermitage Farm, one of Kentucky's oldest Thoroughbred breeding farms.

Gala tickets will be available for purchase beginning Oct. 1 and will range from $500 to $1,500. Corporate sponsorships are also available. The tented party will welcome 1,500 guests, including top names in entertainment, sports, politics and business.
