Indiana University signee James Blackmon Jr. won the 3-point shootout during the McDonald's All American Games' night of skills competitions in Chicago

Marion High School senior James Blackmon Jr. (24) drives the ball to the basket after slipping through the Arsenal Tech defense during the first half of varsity basketball action in a game of Indiana's Best Showcase at Marshall High School Dec. 23, 2013.

Blackmon scored 20 points in his final-round matchup against the girls' champion, Alex Middleton, who has signed with Tennessee.

University of Kentucky signee Karl Towns Jr. completed a blindfolded, wind-mill dunk en route to a second-place finish in the Powerade Jam Fest dunk contest.

Town scored 69 points – ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith gave him a 9 out of seven judges – on the blindfolded dunk. He had a man put the blindfold on him, then walk him to the rim as he counted off steps of where to take off.

He then drove and easily slammed the ball. He did it with such ease, that maybe Towns could see a little bit out of the that blindfold, but, hey, it was a pretty sweet effort regardless.

Before that, he had a 57-point 360 dunk.

Towns scored 63 on the first dunk of the finals on a between-the-legs jam, and 63 again on his final dunk in which he took off from the a foot inside the free-throw line.

Duke-bound Grayson Allen was the dunk contest winner, capping it with a slam over 7-foot Duke signee Jahlil Okafor.

Another Duke signee, Tyus Jones, won the full-court skills contest.

The McDonald's All American Games are Wednesday night at the United Center.
