A number of World Cup watch parties in Louisville have been announced for Thursday's noon meeting between the United States and Germany:

• Fourth Street Live! will show the game, as it did for the United States' previous matches, on its big screen. Bars and restaurants are expected to have specials in conjunction with the event.

• The KFC Yum! Center announced it will show the game on its outdoor marquee and is inviting fans to bring their own food and beverages to then lunchtime showing. The Yum! Center will also have food trucks on site from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

• A University of Louisville professor, Lyle Sussman, is taking a class of about 30 German students to watch at the on-campus J. Gumbo's, 1923 S. 4th Street. The students are enrolled in an MBA leadership class at U of L's College of Business this summer through an arrangement with their German college.
