Cards fans packed the pregame Card March at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

Louisville and Florida State kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday night at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. It's arguably one of the biggest home games in program history.

You can watch the game on ESPN. Rece Davis, David Pollack, Jesse Palmer and Sam Ponder will be the broadcast team for the game.

You can also follow along on Twitter with your favorite CJ writers: Tim Sullivan (@TimSullivan714), Adam Himmelsbach (@AdamHimmelsbach), Michael Grant (@MichaelGrant_CJ) and yours truly (@jeffgreer_cj).

There's also the ongoing fan discussion on the CJ message boards.

First a few game primers:

Depth-chart notes: First of all, defensive lineman Pio Vatuvei, who plays end and tackle for the Cards, is out for this game with an elbow injury. He was listed as a backup at both ends and played a lot as a speed tackle. He has 13 tackles, four for loss, and one sack.

Michael Dyer is listed as the starter at running back, with Brandon Radcliff as the backup. Don't take that too literally, though. Dominique Brown's dealt with an ankle injury, but he'll get touches if he's healthy. And yes, Aaron Epps is still listed as the starting right tackle.

Game weather: The forecast calls for mid-50s for most the game, but temperatures will drop around 10 and there might be rain coming.

Vegas spread: At VegasInsider.com, the average spread is down to Florida State by 3.5 points. The over/under is 51.

Bowl game comin': In a move that not many other bowls really make, the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl announced that its president and CEO will be in the house on Thursday night. That bowl, starting this season, will be picked by the CFB Playoff selection committee as one of the top six games in college football. Members of Florida Citrus Sports will also be here. They represent the Russell Athletic Bowl and the bowl formerly known as the Capital One Bowl. Someone from the Senior Bowl is credentialed, too.

NFL in the house: U of L credentialed representatives from 22 different NFL teams for Thursday's game, including Cleveland GM Ray Farmer, New England director of player personnel Nick Caserio and eight other GMs.

Louisville guests: We're told Muhammad Ali will be in the house, along with several former Louisville players who are now in the NFL.
