The national honors keep rolling in for Louisville safety Gerod Holliman, who on Friday was named to ESPN's All-American team.

Holliman, who tied the NCAA record for interceptions in a season with 14, has now made four All-American teams since the 2014 regular season drew to a close. He was named a Walter Camp first team All-American on Thursday and received CBS and USA Today All-American honors, too.

Of Holliman, ESPN's David Hale wrote, "Plenty of defensive backs are called ballhawks, but in the past half-century, none have lived up to that billing quite like Holliman ... Only 22 other teams in the country had more interceptions than Holliman had by himself."

The honor came a day after Holliman was given the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation's top defensive back.

In addition to his 14 interceptions, Holliman also had 37 tackles and 17 passes defended.
