The preseason All-American nominations this fall will probably come by the handful for Louisville forward Montrezl Harrell, and the first one trickled out on Monday.

The Blue Ribbon Yearbook, an exhaustive college hoops almanac published every year, included Harrell among its five All-Americans who'll grace the publication's cover.

Harrell, a 6-foot-8 junior, opted to return to U of L for his third season after a breakout sophomore year, surprising many within the program because he was thought to be a potential first-round NBA draft pick.

He's now considered a possible top-10 pick in the 2015 draft, and he'll be one of the key players for Louisville's 2014-15 team. He averaged 14 points and 8.4 rebounds a game last season.

The rest of the All-American team includes Wichita State's Fred VanVleet, Virginia's Malcolm Brogdon, Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky and North Carolina's Marcus Paige.
