As of noon Thursday, more than 113,000 votes had been cast in an ESPN SportsNation poll asking which team would win a 7-game series right now on a neutral court: The University of Kentucky or Philadelphia 76ers.

And the nation says...UK -- and quite convincingly.

The Cats, with their nine McDonald's All Americans and off a 32-point victory over top-five foe Kansas, own 53 percent of the vote to the 76ers' 47 percent, again stoking the same hot topic that comes up seemingly every time John Calipari welcomes another star-studded recruiting class to campus.

Is UK better than the NBA's worst? And make no mistake, the 76ers, off to an 0-11 start this season, are the bottom of the NBA barrel.

Even in Pennsylvania, 51 percent of the vote went in the Cats' favor. It was 67 percent in Kentucky as a United States map on ESPN's website filled with blue-favoring states. Most of the exceptions were out west, with states such as Idaho, Montana, Nevada and Arizona giving the nod to the 76ers.

Arizona went red despite Phoenix Suns guard (and former one-and-done Cat) Eric Bledsoe's comment earlier this week on Sirius/XM NBA radio, when he said UK "definitely" would beat the 76ers, who in a series would "maybe" win a single game.

A SportsNation poll gave UK the nod over the 76ers.
