Where U of L commits are ranked on major sites

With the commitment of Orlando, Fla., Antonio Blakeney, Rick Pitino has landed his fourth premier recruit - and the most highly regarded of all - in the 2015 class. Here's a rundown of where each of those players - Blakeney; Bradenton, Fla., wing Deng Adel;

New Hampshire combo guard Donovan Mitchell and Trinity High power forward Raymond Spalding - appear in the prospect rankings of 247Sports.com, ESPN.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com. (ESPN's ratings of the U of L recruits appear to be a significant outlier. I'm not sure when that site has done an overall update of its rankings.)

The U of L class is No. 1 on Scout and No. 2 on 247, behind only Arizona. It's probably, on paper, the best class Pitino has had at U of L, and it almost certainly is the best across-the-board collection of highly rated players, each of whom is rated five stars by at least one site.

Scout (Adel, Blakeney and Mitchell) and 247 (Blakeney, Mitchell and Spalding) rate three U of L commits five-stars.39
