Muhammad Ali hospitalized with pneumonia
Muhammad Ali was admitted to an undisclosed hospital Saturday morning with what his representatives are calling a "mild" case of pneumonia.
Prognosis for the 72-year-old champion boxer, who has for decades battled Parkinson's disease, is considered good. And because the Louisville native was treated early, his stay is expected to be short, according to a news release.
The Ali family declined to disclose more information, citing privacy.
Rahman Ali reportedly said in October, at the premier of the "I Am Ali" documentary, that his brother's health had declined of late, to the point where Ali was too ill to speak. But since then, Ali took to Twitter, posting, "Don't believe the hype. Feeling great…" on Oct. 14. He also appeared at the University of Louisville's Oct. 30 football game against Florida State.

"Muhammad is doing fine at this point," family spokesman Bob Gunnell said in October. "His speaking style is lower in tone, and as the day goes on, he doesn't speak as well as he does in the morning. But Muhammad's a strong person for his age and for the disease he has."
Ali has homes in Louisville and Scottsdale, Ariz. He also attended a high school football game in Las Vegas earlier this month to watch his grandson, a Bishop Gorman player, win a state championship.
