Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher talks to suspended Heisman quarterback Jameis Winston, who dressed in full pads for pre game warm ups, sending him back to the locker room to change on Saturday vs. Clemson.

ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit weighed in on this week's highly anticipated matchup between No. 2 FSU and Louisville, and he gave the Seminoles some of that old-fashioned bulletin-board material.

Probably the biggest name among college football analysts, Herbstreit joined Colin Cowherd's Tuesday radio show to talk about the new College Football Playoff standings, which will be released Tuesday night.

As Cowherd explained why he didn't think FSU, the undefeated, reigning national champions, would make this season's playoffs, Herbstreit said that subjective opinions are what make the new CFB Playoff selection process fun.

Then he offered his own opinion.

"I think they're going to lose Thursday at Louisville if they play the way they have all year," Herbstreit said, referring to FSU's 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Louisville.

"They may lose ugly at Louisville," Cowherd responded. "I don't buy their defense."

"Their defense is young," Herbstreit said. "They're struggling to communicate. They're giving up big plays through the air if they don't get to the quarterback."
