Montrezl Harrell did just about whatever he wanted in the University of Louisville basketball team's intrasquad scrimmage on Sunday night, U of L said in a release on its site Monday afternoon.

Harrell collected 32 points, six rebounds and four blocks in leading his Black squad past a Terry Rozier-led Red squad 91-82 in the team's private scrimmage.

The team exhibition came a week ahead of Louisville's first public Red-White scrimmage at the KFC Yum! Center. That exhibition will tip off at 2 p.m. Sunday after the team participates in its annual media day.

The Black squad, which also had point guard Chris Jones (18 points, eight assists) and Anton Gill (27 points), led by as many as 17 points on two separate occasions, the practice report said.

The sophomore Rozier, expected to be one of Louisville's top players this coming season, tallied 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists for the Red squad. Senior wing Wayne Blackshead scored a team-high 26 points in the practice game.

The scrimmage stat sheet said the teams shot a combined 45.3 percent from the field, including 34.5 percent from 3-point range.

Freshman Quentin Snider made three of his six 3-pointers for the Red team, while Jones, Gill and Harrell each made three 3s for the Black squad.

Another freshman, powerful big man Chinanu Onuaku, had a scrimmage-high 14 rebounds. Onuaku, Harrell and freshman 7-footer Matz Stockman each blocked four shots.
