STORY LINES

There's obviously some recent history between the programs, with Duke being Louisville's opponent in the famous 2013 regional final in Indianapolis where Kevin Ware broke his leg and the Cardinals rolled into the Final Four. That same season, the teams met early in the nonconference schedule in a much-anticipated matchup and Duke won. They're now set up to be two of the premier ACC programs for at least the near future.

This is a great contrast in styles. Duke is dead-set on man-to-man defense with lots of help. That's the Blue Devils' identity. They've struggled on D the past two seasons, but they've made up for it with great offense and offensive rebounding. Meanwhile Louisville loves to press and drop into a matchup zone, forfeiting some defensive rebounding in exchange for turnovers. Louisville's offense this season seems to be at its best when the defense is on point.

Saturday's game gives the next best chance for U of L's Montrezl Harrell to hit the 1,000-point club. He needs 12 to get there ... Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski is 2-1 vs. Rick Pitino in head-to-head coaching matchups.
