To celebrate Halloween, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is planning some wicked fun.

Between Wednesday, Oct. 19, and Sunday, Oct. 23, Slugger will hold its first ever “Home Run Halloween” with different activities each day.

  • Wednesday, 10 a.m. - The World’s Largest Vampire Stake will be unveiled. The stake is a towering 8 feet, 8 inches long.
  • Thursday, 5:30-7:30 p.m. - Stop by for Creepy Cocktails featuring Evan Williams, Peerless Distilling and Old 502 Winery. Guests can sample drinks for free and purchase signature cocktails while enjoying a spine-tingling performance from the Blue Moon Circus Freaks.
  • Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m. - It’s a double creature feature and Bewitching Brewskies from Goodwood Brewing. Friday’s moves are “ Bride of the Monster” followed by “Freaks.” On Saturday, there will be a screening of “Plan 9 from Outer Space” and “Dracula,” starring Bela Lugosi.
  • Sunday, 11 a.m., the museum rounds third and heads for home with Home Run Halloween Family Fun Fest. Children in costume get free admission, and they can trick-or-treat on the factory tour and other museum hot spots. Plus, prizes for bug eaters and N64 Mario Kart tournaments.
  • Sunday, 3 p.m. - A sing-a-long of Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas."
