Louisville backup guard Tony Hicks, who made a surprise appearance in Wednesday's loss at North Carolina, is still getting up to speed in his recovery from a broken hand and likely to see few, if any minutes against Syracuse Sunday, coach Rick Pitino said.

In his first game since being injured against Pittsburgh on Jan. 24, Hicks played four minutes - broken up in two short stints and scored two points at UNC. Pitino said Friday he's trying to get Hicks back up to full speed for the Wake Forest game next Wednesday.

"I just wanted to throw him in for a minute or two (against the Tar Heels) so that he could get the feel of playing again," Pitino said. "He may get a minute or two against Syracuse, but I doubt it, though."
