Mysterious billboards have been spotted around the city in recent days.

Social media is abuzz with photos of "Resist 45," which was printed on several billboards around Louisville.

One billboard was noticed on I-65 South near the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Another on the left side of a Louisville Soccer board on the University of Louisville campus.

Observers are unsure if the billboard was graffitied or if it is paid advertising.

Resist 45 is a small but growing movement against the 45th president of the United States Donald Trump.

The group on Facebook describes itself as "news about President Donald Trump by the Resistance" and "honest, accurate coverage with a not-so-small tinge of rage."

Louisville has also been using the hashtag #DerbyCityResist to show disdain for America's Commander-In-Chief.

The words on the board are "basically the 'Mockingjay'" symbol says one Facebook user. The Mockingjay refers to a symbol in the movie franchise "The Hunger Games" in which the main character, Katniss, played by Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence, wears a pin with a symbol as a daring sign of resistance to the rule and regime of the government.
