The third week is the new charm for Louisville football attracting ESPN's national broadcast attention.

This time, it's ESPN Radio's "College GameDay" show that is Louisville-bound for a big-time matchup. The show will broadcast from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, at Gate 3 outside Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

No. 16 Louisville (1-0) hosts No. 3 Clemson (1-0) at 3:30 p.m. that day in what could be a significant matchup in the ACC's Atlantic Division title race. The game still doesn't have a designated channel yet, with ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 all options.

"We are so excited to bring ESPN Radio’s 'College GameDay' broadcast to campus on Saturday, Sept. 16, leading up to the Clemson game,"  ESPN marketing coordinator Shanice Smith wrote.
