The Louisville basketball team will conduct two public intrasquad scrimmages next month.

U of L on Wednesday announced two dates for its annual Red-White games at the KFC Yum Center. The first contest will take place on Oct. 13, with the second coming two weeks later on Oct. 27. Both practice games tip off at 7 p.m.

Cards coach Rick Pitino will set the rosters for the scrimmages closer to the games.

The Red-White games mark the start of Louisville's 2017-18 season. The Cards host exhibitions against Kentucky Wesleyan on Oct. 30 and Bellarmine on Nov. 7 before the season's first real game against George Mason on Nov. 12.

Getting a seat: Tickets for $10 to see the Red-White scrimmages go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday at the U of L ticket office on the Floyd Street side of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. Fans can also purchase tickets before U of L's upcoming home football games, or by visiting ticketmaster.com.

Free student tickets can be purchased at the U of L ticket office with a student ID.
