Gov. Matt Bevin has fired yet another shot at Attorney General Andy Beshear, this time using his personal Twitter account.

Wednesday in London, Kentucky, Beshear said during a meeting with the Cumberland Valley chapter of the Kentucky Public Retirees that he has "concerns" about a plan introduced by Bevin to deal with Kentucky's pension crisis.

"I do have some concerns, with just the general presumption that moving to a 401(k) for new hires is a good thing, of the states that have tried it there have only been a few and at least three of them, it's gone very poorly,” said Beshear, according to WYMT. "Until it's a bill, until it's down in writing, it's very hard to evaluate.”

Bevin's response:

On the scale of low blows, comparing anyone to a Kardashian ranks near the very top. By implying that Beshear's opinion on something as crucial as pension plans is equivalent to Kardashian's opinions about NASA is hard-core.

Beshear's comment was, by any measure, mild and balanced. At the same meeting, he said that the plan, introduced yesterday, had some positive aspects.

But Bevin went straight for the jugular. Kentuckians, some of whom are really counting on a pension, were not pleased.
