As they have been on other recruiting sites, too, University of Louisville basketball commitments Donovan Mitchell and Raymond Spalding were major risers in the updated Rivals150 for the Class of 2015 on Wednesday.

Mitchell, a Brewster Academy guard who committed to U of L three weeks ago, made the biggest jump of any player in the country in the Rivals.com rankings, moving up 71 positions to No. 30 after his terrific summer on the camp and AAU circuit. Spalding, a power forward from Trinity High who pledged to the hometown team last month, rose 31 spots to No. 38.

U of L's other commitment, Bradenton, Fla., wing Deng Adel, is No. 49 on Rivals.com.

Guard Charles Matthews, the University of Kentucky's lone commitment, fell from No. 29 o No. 56, continuing a trend on most sites since early summer of him sliding from consensus five-star status to a top-60 or so prospect.

Mitchell was not considered an elite recruit nationally until last month when he stood out at the Reebok Breakout Classic in Philadelphia and while playing for his The City travel club and picked up most of his scholarship offers, including from U of L. Now He's rated No. 20 by Scout.com - after previously not being ranked in the top 100 - No. 28 by 247Sports.com and No. 30 by Rivals.

Spalding, who was generally regarded as a top-75 or top-100 prospect, is now No. No. 21 on 247, No. 30 on Rivals and No. 39 on Scout.

Adel is No. 18 on Scout, No. 32 on 247 and No. 49 on Rivals.

Matthews is No. 56 on Rivals, No. 60 on 247 and No. 61 on Scout.

UK targets make up seven of the top 10 in the new Rivals rankings.

LSU commitment Ben Simmons of Montverde Academy in Florida is No. 1, followed by UK targets No. 2 Jaylen Brown, 3 Malik Newman, 4 Skal Labissiere, 5 Diamond Stone, 6, Cheick Diallo and 7 Ivan Rabb and 10 Stephen Zimmerman.

The Ville's Ray Spalding (Trinity H.S.) prepares to dunk the ball on a fast break. Louisville beat Albany, N.Y. to capture the AAU 11th grade high school basketball championship. 28 July 2014
