The University of Louisville added the 17th commitment to its 2015 recruiting class on Monday.

Paul Harris, a three-star receiver from Iowa Western Community College, verbally committed to U of L, several reports said.

Harris, a 6-foot-4, 200-pound, originally signed to play at the University of Tennessee in 2013. He had one catch for 15 yards as a freshman.

He was given his release from Tennessee after the 2013 season, and he's spending 2014 at Iowa Western Community College.

Harris visited U of L this summer and plans to enroll in December. He is considered the fifth-best junior-college receiver in his class, according to recruiting service 247 Sports.

Harris would be the second Iowa Western product on Louisville's roster if his commitment sticks. Junior outside linebacker Trevon Young also attended Iowa Western.

Louisville now has three receivers committed for the 2015 class. Five Cardinals receivers will exhaust their eligibility after this season, and a sixth, Robert Clark, left the program before the season started.

Harris would be eligible to play in 2015.
